Cooling Centers Open In Fair Lawn Amid High Temperatures
Breaking: Residents, especially the elderly and young children, should stay indoors when the temperatures is high, authorities said.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — With hot temperatures and humidity on the rise in North Jersey, the borough has opened cooling centers to help people deal with the heat.
Residents may use the following locations to cool down:
- Fair Lawn Senior Center: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.
- Fair Lawn Community Center: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Maurice M. Pine Free Public Library: Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The borough pool is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. Day passes cost $10 Monday through Friday and $20 Saturday and Sunday.
