On Friday, May 4th, from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5th, from 2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 6th from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Fair Lawn’s H.B. Milnes Elementary will host the Annual “Spring Fling” Carnival. This event is a full-scale Carnival with rides, games, food and fun for the entire family. “Spring Fling” is the major educational fundraiser of the year for the PTA, with proceeds going directly towards educational items for the school.
Carnival organizers are pleased to announce that ticket prices for rides are as follows - $1.25 /ticket, Family Sheet (26 tickets) for $30.00 or the Super Saver Sheet (55 tickets) for $60.00. All rides require 3 to 5 tickets! In addition, advance discount ticket sales will be held on Tuesday, May 1st from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the main entrance to H.B. Milnes Elementary School (8-01 Philip Street) and from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Thomas Jefferson Middle School (Morlot Avenue at Philip Street) and on Wednesday, May2nd at Thomas Jefferson Middle School 2:30-4:30pm and H.B. Milnes Elementary School from 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. They will also be available at the PTA meetings at both schools in April. The discount ticket price will be $20.00 for 20 tickets! The Carnival will be held rain or shine.
Parking is free and is available at both schools as well as the adjacent side streets. So grab the kids, and enjoy a real “Spring Fling”.
