The WalkFest for YCS has something for everyone in the family - a scenic walk alongside the meandering Saddle River, health and wellness information, live music, a playground area and free activities for the children. This fundraiser is hosted by the Friends of YCS to establish a permanent, year-round camp/retreat for children in YCS’ care. Admission is $15 per person ($10 for students) and $25 per family.
For the past seven years, the Friends of YCS have been working towards raising $2 million for the purchase and maintenance of a camp/retreat in the countryside for children in YCS safe havens, healing homes and foster care throughout the Garden State. 100% of the proceeds benefit the YCS The Big Camp campaign.
