FAIR LAWN, NJ — Police continue their search for a man they say robbed Woroco Gas and assaulted two employees on Friday night.

Officers responded to the gas station shortly before 10:20 p.m., where they found one employee, a 31-year-old Fair Lawn man, with stab wounds.

Three gas station employees told officers that a man wearing a black baseball hat and black shirt entered the building looking for a gas can.

The man, who police have yet to identify, is said to have struck the first employee he encountered in the back of the head, before stabbing him four times with a screwdriver.

The employee eventually gave the suspect approximately $550.

A second employee, 42, of Fair Lawn, was punched in the face, police say, after he told the suspect he had no money.

The suspect then fled in "an unknown direction."
