Fair Lawn Plans Month Of Revolutionary War Anniversary Events: See List

The Borough of Fair Lawn will celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary throughout July.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — The Borough of Fair Lawn will celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary throughout July with a series of community events as part of its Rev250 program.

The schedule begins with a Hamilton Sing along at 8:30 p.m. on July 1 at Memorial Pool, followed by America's Potluck from 5 to 7 p.m. on July 5 at The Dutch House. Advance registration is required for the potluck.

On July 8, residents are invited to The Spirit of America program at 6 p.m. at Fair Lawn Borough Hall. A Historic Trolley Ride is scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 12, departing from Borough Hall, and the winners of the borough's House Decorating Contest will be announced following the event.

Additional activities include the Sunrise Rotary Revolutionary Drum Circle at 1 p.m. on July 18 at Town Square Bergen.

Borough officials said more Rev250 events are also planned from August through December.
