Fair Lawn Police Hosting National Night Out Aug. 1
The family-friendly event is 7 to 9 p.m. at Schmidt Field in Memorial Park.
FAIR LAWN, NJ — The Police Department will host a National Night Out event Tuesday at Schmidt Field in Memorial Park from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
National Night Out is nationwide community event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch in the United States and Canada. The event is designed to increase awareness about community policing programs, such as drug prevention and neighborhood watch initiatives, among others.
National Night Out events often have live music, food and entertainment for parents and children.
