Fair Lawn was ranked No. 67.
Fair Lawn has a student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1 and 27 Advanced Placement subjects offered. Forty-five percent of 11th- and 12th-graders are taking at least one Advanced Placement class. Thirty-eight percent of students who took an Advanced Placement exam scored at least a three on the test.

The vast majority of students, 66 and 89 percent, score at least 530 and 480 on the math and reading and writing sections of the SAT, respectively.
To arrive at the rankings, NJ Monthly looked at the state Department of Education's most recent New Jersey School Performance Reports. Only public high schools were included in the rankings. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
