Fair Lawn River Road District Holiday Window Painting & Street Decorations will LIFT your holiday spirits!

When the president of the River Road District Corporation, Richard Noorigian a life-time resident of Fair Lawn, related his memories at the recent Board of Trustees awards presentation to retiring board of trustees, he spoke of his fond memories of the walking through the River Road District seeing holiday decorations when he was a boy and how the decorations brought anticipation and excitement for the approaching holiday season.

It is no exception today for many Fair Lawn residents. The lighted decorative pole wreaths and fifty-one holiday window paintings are in the spotlight this season, again continuing the tradition of anticipation and cheerfulness in the commercial district.

Thirty-three River Road District business owners have participated in the Holiday Window Painting program offered by the River Road Improvement Corporation. Business owners are given several holiday designs and greetings to choose from that are hand painted by Melinda Saminski, an artist contracted for past several years. District business owners look forward to the program and bringing cheer and joyfulness while welcoming shoppers, visitors, diners and strollers.
