Fair Lawn Sophomore Named To All-State Band
Two other students, Elias Rosenberg and Karen Broytman, narrowly missed out on the honor.
FAIR LAWN, NJ — Fair Lawn High School sophomore Daniel Ketter was named to the New Jersey All-State Band, Principal Jim Marcella announced Friday.
"Daniel is only a sophomore, and this result is quite extraordinary," Marcell said. "His musicianship is second to none."
Marcell commended high school band director Scott Avidon for his "diligent" and "dedicated" work with the students. He also thanked the Board of Education for its continued support of the school's music programs.
