Fair Lawn Woman Found Stuck In Rabbit Cage
Police said the 86-year-old was stuck for an undisclosed amount of time, but that she got in the cage by accident, not foul play.
FAIR LAWN, NJ — Fair Lawn police confirmed that a woman who was stuck in a rabbit cage at a senior housing building got there by accident, and no foul play was involved.
Police Sgt. Brian Metzler said officers responded to a multi-resident senior housing building on River Road at 1:56 p.m. on Sunday. They were originally called to provide assistance to an 86-year-old at the building, but found that she was stuck in a rabbit cage.
Police were able to release the woman from the cage, and she was transported to Valley Hospital for evaluation.

It's unclear how long the woman had been stuck in the cage, Metzler said.
