Gottheimer, Fair Lawn Officials Want More Infrastructure Funds
The first-term congressman and state and local representatives will call for a increase in federal money to New Jersey.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5th) will speak Tuesday at the Radburn Train Station urging lawmakers to get more federal dollars to fix the state's infrastructure.
Gottheimer will speak with state Senator Bob Gordon and Fair Lawn Council members Lisa Swain and Kurt Peluso at 11 a.m. They will call for Trenton leaders to ensure that New Jerseyans receive "a fair share" of federal dollars to fix the state's roadways and transit centers.
Gottheimer has long pointed out that the district gets back just 33 cents for every federal tax dollar it sends, one of the lowest rates in the country. He also said while campaigning that he wants to improve the district's infrastructure.
