Courtney Ann Mottola, of Fair Lawn, has been inducted into two national honor societies as a junior at Monmouth University: Lambda Alpha (Alpha of NJ Chapter) and Kappa Delta Pi (Nu Tau Chapter). The purpose of Lambda Alpha is to stimulate scholarship and research in Anthropology by recognizing and honoring superior achievement in the discipline. Kappa Delta Pi is a international Honor Society in Education that provides leadership experience, service projects, professional growth, and fellowship. Mottola is majoring in Elementary Education: Anthropology and pursuing a Master's Degree in Special Education, while finishing the semester with a 3.6 GPA.
