IHA's Summer@theheart

Immaculate Heart Academy will host various summer enrichment courses and workshops through its popular Summer@theheart program.

Courses are open to both boys and girls of various age levels.

Session I (July 7-16) and Session II (July 21-30), held Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., will include workshops in Algebra, Essay Writing, 3-D Art, Young Artists, and Broadcasting.

Mini Session three-day workshops will also be held, including Fun with Fashion (July 14-16), Crafting Your College Essay (July 21-23) and Basics of Acting (July 28-30).

New this year, IHA introduces G.E.N.I.U.S.@theheart, which stands for Girls Experimenting New Ideas Using STEM. This workshop focuses on cultivating girls’ interests in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields, as well as developing critical thinking skills through experiments, activities, and competitions. G.E.N.I.U.S.@theheart is open to rising 6th and 7th graders (July 14-16) and rising 8th and 9th graders (July 21-23); both sessions are from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
