IHOP Pancake Restaurant Temporarily Closes After 3-Alarm Fire
The pancake house on Route 17 suffered a serious fire on Monday.
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — A day after a fire tore through the International House of Pancakes location in Hasbrouck Heights on Monday, the fate of the restaurant remained uncertain.
The pancake house's website said it will be closed every day this week. (Patch has reached out to the chain to get details about if and when they will reopen.)
The Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department said the blaze broke out early Monday morning and grew to three alarms.

It had been brought under control before 9 a.m.
The area of Route 17 South near Franklin Avenue was temporarily closed while firefighters fought the blaze.

Those with a hankering for a stack of pancakes can try the other Bergen County IHOP locations in Fair Lawn, Teaneck, Englewood, or Ramsey. A new location is planned in Lodi, as well.
