Lakeland Bank Announces Employee of the Quarter Awards

Lakeland Bank announced Monday that five employees had been honored with Employee of the Quarter awards. 

Lisa Barcelowsky, Ashley Fazio, Michele Jacobs, John Mendyk III, Kathy Picun and Laurel Schnurr were presented with the award based on nominations submitted by colleagues.

“Congratulations to Lisa, Ashley, Michele, John, Kathy and Laurel for their exceptional service,” said Thomas J. Shara, president and CEO of Lakeland Bank, in a statement. “We appreciate the commitment and dedication they demonstrate to our customers, our bank and the communities we serve.”

• Lisa Barcelowsky – Administrative Assistant, CML/Sussex Team. Barcelowsky joined the Bank in 1994 as a teller for the former National Bank of Sussex County. She held positions in accounting and credit before leaving in 2000. In 2006, she returned as a customer service representative in the Branchville Downtown office and transferred to her current position in 2011. Barcelowsky resides in Dingmans Ferry, P.A.

• Ashley Fazio – Personal Banking Consultant, Montville. Fazio began working for the Bank in 2008 as a teller. She was promoted to customer service representative in 2011 and transitioned to her current position in 2012. Fazio is a resident of Little Falls.

• Michele Jacobs – Management Accounting Assistant, Finance. Jacobs joined Lakeland Bank in 2000 as an imaging operator. She transferred to deposit operations in 2005 and then to finance in 2010 as an accounting clerk. Jacobs was recently promoted to her current position, and is a resident of Jefferson Township.

• John Mendyk III – Loan Administrator, CML/Bernardsville Team. Mendyk recently joined Lakeland Bank through the acquisition of Somerset Hills Bank, where he started in 2010. He is a resident of Clifton.

• Kathy Picun – Human Resources Assistant, Human Resources. Picun began her career with Lakeland Bank in 2004 in the human resources department. She resides in Stillwater Township.

• Laurel Schnurr – CML/ABL Processor, Loan Operations. Schnurr joined Lakeland Bank in 2010 in the loan operations department. She is a resident of Andover Township.
