Longtime Italian Restaurant In Bergen County To Close In 4 Days
Owners of an Italian restaurant in Bergen County said Wednesday that it will close for good soon.
FAIR LAWN, NJ — After more than a quarter century serving Bergen County, a family-owned Italian restaurant will close, they announced Wednesday.
Davia Restaurant in Fair Lawn encouraged customers to come have one last drink or a dish cooked up by "Chef Paul" this weekend.
Davia, located on Fair Lawn Avenue, specializes in farm-to-table ingredients and craft cocktails, and offers prix fixe dinners.

Menu items include a rack of lamb, beef wellington, chicken due volte, veal, and various pizza and pasta dishes.
The owners wrote in a message, "After almost 28 years of serving Fair Lawn and the greater Bergen County area, we would like to formally announce we are closing this Sunday ... It has been our privilege to serve our friends and family, and even more an honor to see most of those friends become our chosen family."

They added, "We are sad at the closing of this chapter, but so excited to see what the future brings for our families. With all the love in the world: Michele, Paul, Bill, and the whole Davia family."
