Man Arrested In Connection With Fair Lawn Fire: Prosecutor

An Englewood man has been arrested and charged with arson in connection to an April fire in Fair Lawn.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — A man was arrested in connection to an April fire in Fair Lawn, according to a news release from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Jonathan A. Rossi, 22, of Englewood, was arrested on Monday, May 18 and charged with one count of arson, one count of criminal trespassing and one count of criminal mischief, according to the release.

Rossi was released, subject to non-monetary conditions following his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.

On Thursday, April 9, 2020, the Fair Lawn police reported a fire at a residence in Fair Lawn. The fire was extinguished and deemed suspicious. A joint investigation began between the Prosecutor's Office and Fair Lawn police.
