Stabbing On Bergen County Street Leads To Attempted Murder Arrest: Prosecutor
After a man was stabbed on a Bergen County street Saturday, a Fairview man was arrested, prosecutors said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Bergen County man has been charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of another man on a Fairview Street on Saturday.
Victor A. Soto, 60, of Fairview was also charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said that just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday, the Fairview Police Department responded to a stabbing incident on Grant Street.

They found another 60-year-old man with serious stab wounds to his face, hands, and legs, prosecutors said.
The victim was hospitalized at Palisades Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police found Soto after he fled the scene, prosecutors said.
Soto was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a hearing in Bergen County Superior Court, prosecutors said.
