Man Donates 50-Inch TV To Saddle Brook Burglary Victims: Report
David and Susan Johansen had jewelry, electronics, and an unopened 32-inch television stolen from their home, police said.

One man donated a 50-inch television to a Saddle Brook family who had theirs stolen in a break-in earlier in the week, The Record reported.
Several break-ins were reported in the township Friday and two more were reported Wednesday, Saddle Brook police said.
In one of the Wednesday burglaries, the homeowners, David and Susan Johansen had jewelry and electronics, including a laptop and an unopened 32-inch television stolen, police said.

An anonymous donor said he was reading about the burglaries and wanted to do something to help, the report stated. He purchased a 50-inch television for the Johansens.

“We were very very grateful,” Susan Johansen said in the report. “It lifted our spirits.”
