Man Killed In NYC Crane Accident Buried In Bergen County Sunday, Report Says
David Wichs, 38, was remembered for his kindness and generosity.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ - A man who was killed by a collapsing crane in New York City Friday was buried in Bergen County Sunday, the Associated Press reported.
David Wichs, 38, was buried at Passaic Junction Cemetery in Saddle Brook, the report said. He was remembered as a kind and generous man. Wichs was killed due to the impact of the crane. Three other people were injured.
Relatives said Wichs was a math whiz who graduated from Harvard University, the report said. He worked at a computerized-trading firm.

Rabbi Emeritus Haskel Lookstein of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun said Wichs’ good deeds made him ”an angel,” according to the report.
“We honor a very unique man whose life was a life of giving: giving from his possessions to causes he believed in passionately,” Lookstein said.
