May: ShopRite of Fair Lawn to Host Wide Range of Health and Wellness Events
Programming Includes Women's Health and Celiac Awareness Offerings
This May, ShopRite of Fair Lawn, an Inserra Supermarkets store, will host a wide range of health and wellness events, including those focused on women’s health and celiac awareness. The store’s registered dietitian, Dana McLaughlin, R.D., will lead each of the LiveRight offerings and provide easy-to-implement nutrition and wellness advice. All programs are free, open to the public, held at ShopRite of Fair Lawn and do not require advance registration, unless otherwise noted:
Thurs., May 19 – Snack Hacks: Product Spotlight Featuring Crunchmaster Crackers and Cuisinart Mini-Food Processor, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. We’ve got the surefire way to satisfy your snack craving! Stop by the Dietitian’s Corner for samples of Gluten-Free Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Crackers paired with a lightened-up dip prepared in the Cuisinart Mini-Food Processor.
Wed., May 25 – Power Up With Protein, 2 – 4 p.m. Visit the Dietitian’s Corner for tips on how to meet your protein needs throughout the day and try a sample of new Kashi Go Lean Protein Powders.

Thurs., May 26 – Women’s Health Awareness, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Drop by the Dietitian’s Corner to learn about nutrition to support women’s health. Representatives of the Hackensack University Medical Center Institute for Breast Care will also be offering additional information and resources regarding women’s health.
Fri., May 27 – Build a Better Burger, 3 – 5 p.m. BBQ season is upon us! Pick up ideas on how to prepare a better-for-you burger just in time for Memorial Day.

Tues., May 31 – Free Kids’ Veggiecation® Class, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Please note that pre-registration is required. Bring in the kids for a free, interactive snacking class, where kids will be encouraged to try new foods. This is the perfect class for picky eaters.
