MG of BC hosts Ira Grassgreen: "Who Needs Perennials? Annuals Rock!" Tues 4/ 28, 7:30 PM

As gardeners, we can probably all agree perennials do bring much delight to the garden. However, annuals provide spectacular color and texture. The potential selection of plant materials is enormous. There are billions (a slight exaggeration) of annuals which accommodate very diverse growing conditions. Ira Grasgreen will show pictures of annuals for shade, sun, containers and different landscape conditions. The photographs will feature diverse color and height selections as annuals offer endless choices for your garden.

Ira Grasgreen is employed as an outside salesmen for Eason Horticultural Resources (EHR). EHR serves as a consultant and broker to retail garden center growers, wholesale greenhouse growers, nurserymen, and landscapers. Ira travels to greenhouses and trial gardens nationwide viewing and judging new and old varieties of plant material. He is a graduate of Rutgers - Cook College and has just started his 27th year servicing the horticultural trade.
