Part Of 5th Street In Saddle Brook To Close For 2 Weeks
Water main repair project will begin Wednesday, police said.

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — Part of 5th Street will be closed for more than two weeks while a water main is replaced on the street, police announced Tuesday.
Fifth Street will be closed between Market Street and Route 46 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Wednesday. Work is expected to be complete on about Sept. 2.
Detours will be put in place and marked, police said.

Local residents and motorists will be allowed to access homes and businesses, police said. No "through traffic" will be permitted to use Market Street and Route 46, police said.
Motorists and residents should expect delays in the area and plan an alternate route, if possible.
