Paterson Man Arrested With Over $1,000 Of Stolen Goods: Fair Lawn

The man was arrested after fleeing from the area of a CVS on River Road with about $1,200 of stolen goods in a black tote bag.

1:49 a.m. Driving While Intoxicated: P.O. Brad Pindyck, P.O. Thomas Spear & Sgt. Kevin Wood responded to Pine Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, officers found three vehicles that had been struck while parked in their driveways, along with a porch of a residence on Pine Avenue. Richard Larrivieri, age 22 of Fair lawn, was arrested after failing a roadside sobriety test. An arrest warrant was located for Larrivieri out of Pennsylvania. He was transported by Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment of a facial injury. Once released from the medical center, he was charged with reckless driving & driving while intoxicated, then sent to Bergen County Jail to await extradition to Pennsylvania.

12:02 p.m. Shoplifting: P.O. Ian Manelis & P.O. Miguel Cruz responded to the area of CVS Pharmacy, 18-35 River Road, on a report of a shoplifter who fled the store and arrested Jose Vasquez, age 53 of Paterson, after he was located on 1st Avenue in Paterson. Recovered in a black tote bag was $1203.23 in unpaid items. He was released after being charged with shoplifting & defiant trespassing.

1:57 a.m. Driving While Intoxicated: P.O. Juan Hinojosa & P.O. Tiller Uriarte responded to Fair Lawn Industries, 20-21 Wagaraw Road, on a report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, they discovered that a vehicle had struck a parked box truck in the parking lot. Shavonne Brown, age 39 of Elmwood Park, was arrested after failing a roadside sobriety test. She was released to a responsible adult after being charged with reckless driving, driving on a sidewalk & driving while intoxicated.
