Police: Paterson Store Burglarized, 'No Widespread Damage'
Police confirmed there was an "incident" at Paterson's Kicktronics after a video showing broken store windows was posted on social media.
PATERSON, NJ — A Paterson sneaker store was burglarized, and store windows were smashed on Tuesday night.
A video posted to the Jersey Artists Instagram page showed the damage to the windows, and a police presence outside what appeared to be the Kicktronics store on Market Street.
Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale confirmed there was an "incident" at the store last night, but there was no widespread damage.

Speziale said arrests were made, but could not immediately confirm how many have been arrested and charged.
No connection has been made between the damage to the store and the peaceful protest in Paterson earlier in the day, which saw local activists and residents to take the streets to protest the killing of 46-year-old Minneapolis man George Floyd.
