Recent Fair Lawn High School Graduate Helping People Express Themselves
Beantown Tapestries is a business that motivates and encourages people to find their outlet of self-expression and self-identity.

Hey everyone!
My name is Dany Khoury, a recent graduate from Fair Lawn High School. I currently attend Babson College, a business school in Massachusetts, just 20 minutes outside of Boston. I entered Babson as GAP student; I took off a full semester in the Fall of 2016, and worked in retail.
Let me talk less about myself and more of why I am actually here.

As a freshman at Babson College, I am afforded the opportunity to run a startup business, amongst a group of my peers. This once in a lifetime experience gives me the chance to not only collaborate with a diverse team, but also gain insight into all the facets of a business, whether it's learning about sales, marketing, operations, and finance. Babson's flagship course, Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (also known as FME), is one that has continued to shape me into an entrepreneurial leader and challenge my own ideas.
Since I began studying in the Spring of 2017, the FME course extends into the summer.

I am more than thrilled to say that I, along with 11 of my fellow peers, am part of exceptional team we call Beantown Tapestries. We are in the business of selling wall decor that strives to promote self-expression and help people find their self-identity. Our mission statement, in essence, is to provide an aesthetically pleasing product that evokes comfort and a sense of self-expression among our customers.
Our tapestries come in 4 designs that we believe convey the core values of our venture clearly and effectively.
We are proud to also mention that 2 of our 4 designs have actually been created by a student from Babson, Kristin Carosotto. We saw this as an advantage we could not overlook.
Beantown Tapestries currently has 3 social media platforms, in which we are able to inform customers about different times of selling, a sale or promotion, and other information that would keep prospective buyers actively engaged with the business.
As an incentive of our pre-sales strategy, we will be offering a free yoga class (on Babson College campus) for every purchase that is made, before our inventory arrives.
