Residents Graduate From Citizen's Police Academy
Graduates learned about gang and firearm awareness and safety, self-defense, fraud awareness, investigations and other police matters.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — More than two dozen residents were graduated from the Fair Lawn Police Citizen's Police Academy recently.
The free academy was formed to provide insight into the operations of the Fair Lawn Police. Attendees learned about gang awareness, firearm safety, self-defense, fraud awareness and investigations, juvenile concerns, drug awareness, motor vehicle stops, searches and seizures, domestic violence and crime prevention.
Students also were familiarized with the different Fair Lawn emergency services.
