Residents Meet in Support of Preserving Post Offices
Last summer, both the River Road and Warren Point Post Offices appeared on a list of North Jersey post office branches being considered for closure this year

Residents concerned about the will meet Tuesday at the Radburn Post Office on Abbott Road to let their voices be heard.
The public hearing begins at 6:30 p.m. A United States Postal Service representative will be present to respond to comments.

“Post offices are the center of a community,” then-Deputy Mayor Joe Tedeschi said at the time. “They are economic anchors within specific areas of the town. They help support the businesses around them.”
The River Road Improvement Corporation, a non-profit that represents the interests of commercial establishments on River Road and has come out in strong opposition to the post office closures, is sponsoring the event.
