Revolutionary Lives Exhibit Opens At Fair Lawn Library

FAIR LAWN, NJ — A traveling exhibit putting ordinary New Jerseyans at the center of the Revolutionary story has arrived in Fair Lawn.

“Revolutionary Lives: Living the American Experiment Then and Now” runs from Thursday, September 3, through Thursday, September 17, at the Maurice M. Pine Free Public Library, 10-01 Fair Lawn Avenue.

The 12-panel exhibition explores how the American Revolution created disruptions and opportunities for everyday people across New Jersey. It examines how their experiences, views and choices were shaped by their circumstances.

A reception is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 10. The exhibit is part of Fair Lawn’s yearlong celebration of the 250th anniversary of American independence.
