SADDLE BROOK, NJ — A Saddle Brook man has been charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said.
Victor Morales, 22, was arrested Tuesday in Paramus and charged with both offenses.
Earlier that day, the Saddle Brook Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit "regarding a report of child abuse," prosecutors said.
They said that an investigation by prosecutors and police determined that Morales "physically assaulted a child under the age of 13 years old who was in his care."
