Special fitness event with Dr. Oz and Steve Weatherford at Vision Sports Club in Pearl River

On Saturday, January 9th, Daytime Host Dr. Oz will join world class body builder and “muscle chef” Carlo Filippone, fitness expert and former Super Bowl Champion Steve Weatherford, and WBFF-Pro Coryn Martin, for a special fitness event at Vision Sports Club in Pearl River, NY. This team of fitness experts will be launching a unique fitness and dietary program open to 100 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. A portion of all proceeds raised will benefit the Steve Weatherford World Champion Foundation to help fight the ongoing obesity crisis amongst our nation’s kids.

The fitness program called The Journey, is a total lifestyle transformation challenge hosted by gourmet food company Elite Lifestyle Cuisine in partnership with Vision Sports Club.

The Journey begins on January 18th and the final check-in will be April 18th. The program will provide 90-days of specially formulated meals from Elite Lifestyle Cuisine’s signature Line, combined with a unique work-out regimen delivered by a rotating list of celebrity trainers, including Dr. Oz, journalist, fitness expert and author Jenna Wolfe, Steve Weatherford, fitness model Tyson Beckford and more.

At the end of The Journey, the participant with 1. The biggest overall transformation – as shown in before and after photos and by weight/fat loss, 2. Participation – Vision Sports Club has implemented a point system rewarding participants for total number of workouts, classes attended, training sessions attended, celebrity workouts attended and check-ins, and 3. Essay submission – one page essay detailing your journey and how you have benefitted from it, will win a trip for two to any destination in the USA.
