Teddy bears tying the "tightrope" of trust among new friends

Teddy bears are multiplying and falling into embracing arms of many new friends of all faiths, countywide, already, by early months of 2016.

With the assistance of Naneen Becker Levine of Short Hills, Temple Israel's NJJA of Ridgewood, Washington Schoolof Bergenfield, and Yeshivat Ha'etid of Bergenfield, and several New Jersey bnai mitvah students, we have surpassed the collection and redistribution of 166,250+ donated recycled stuffed toys. These toys have found their way into the embracing arms of newly happy children around the world, in need of a teddy bear hug.

We look forward to the upcoming stuffed toy collections of Lincoln School of Bergenfield and Bergenfield High School. These toys will be donated locally and abroad.

For further information to find out how you can get involved, contact Rabbi Claire Ginsburg Goldstein, lgcg98@aol.com, Operation Teddy Bear, at Bears from Bergenfield.
