Koval, a 16-year-old from Fair Lawn, is having a lot of praise and negativity thrown her way following an anti-Israel tweet she posted.

FAIR LAWN, NJ - Bethany Koval is receiving a lot of support for an anti-Israel Twitter post she put online last month. She is also receiving a fair amount of criticism.
Koval said school officials have reprimanded her about the tweet about Israel that caused a fellow classmate to unfollow her.

Koval has received a lot of support online from other Twitter users. They’ve encouraged her to speak out in the name of free speech. The tweet has also fostered a lot of pro-Israel/pro-Palestinian responses.
