Walmart In Saddle Brook Evacuated After Bomb Threat: Officials
The Bergen County Bomb Squad and police dogs checked a Walmart for bombs on Friday night.
SADDLE BROOK, NJ — A bomb threat briefly closed a Walmart store in Saddle Brook on Friday night, officials said.
Just before 9:30 p.m., according to a spokesperson for the Bergen County Sheriff's Office, Saddle Brook Police asked for assistance with a call saying there were pipe bombs in the Walmart on Route 46. The store was evacuated.
The Sheriff's Office brought the Bomb Squad as well as two explosive K-9s, said spokesman James Edmonds, a spokesperson for County Sheriff Anthony Cureton.

The dogs finished their search by 10:18 p.m. and found no explosives, Edmonds said. The scene was turned over to Saddle Brook Police Department to continue their investigation.
Edmonds said no further information is available.
