Fair Lawn Seniors Put A Cap On High School Career

A live stream is available for this morning's Fair Lawn High School graduation ceremony at Sasso Field.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Fair Lawn High School's graduating class of 2020 was honored during a Tuesday morning graduation ceremony.

The district tweeted Tuesday afternoon that the class of approximately 210 graduates celebrated at Sasso Field with a socially distanced walking ceremony.

Alumni and graduates took the lead on organizing the ceremony while high school administrators offered aid, according to the district.

"The goal was to walk across the stage in their cap and gown — and with red masks with the Fair Lawn logo — for a final farewell," read a tweet.

Early views of Sasso Field this morning, where the ceremony was held, featured socially distanced seating, in accordance with state guidelines.

A video recap of the ceremony, which was slated to begin at 10:30 a.m., is available below. The ceremony was for graduates only, Fair Lawn Public Schools tweeted Monday.
