Woman Stole Medication From Police Dropbox After Being Arrested Earlier In The Day: Officials
Robyn Verga was at the Fair Lawn Police Station to pick up property after she was charged with shoplifting, police said.

A Garfield woman was arrested after police caught her taking prescription medications out of the Fair Lawn Police Department’s Project Medicine dropbox, police said.
Two police officers saw Robyn Verga, 27, on the department’s video surveillance system with her arm inside the Project Medicine dropbox at the entrance of the Fair Lawn Municipal Building shortly after 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, Sgt. Brian Metzler said.
The officers found bottles of Vicodin and Hydrocodone in Verga’s clothes, Metzler said. She was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and theft of movable property.

Verga was at police headquarters to pick up personal belongings that were seized after she was arrested earlier that day, Metzler said.
Rosemary Verga, 64, Jordan Stevens, 27, and Verga were arrested after a Dunkin Donuts employee saw a man and a woman walking in and out of the business with unpaid merchandise at 12:16 a.m, police said. The merchandise was found in a 2008 Nissan that the elder Verga was operating, police said.

Verga and Stevens were charged with shoplifting and Rosemary Verga was charged with receiving stolen property.
