HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ — Police are asking for the public's help following a serious three-car crash on Interstate 78 that injured four people in Hunterdon County.
On Tuesday at 12:55 a.m., a yellow Ford SUV, a gray Toyota passenger vehicle, and a blue Honda sedan were driving west on I‑78, said the New Jersey State Police(NJSP).
In the area of milepost 11, the Toyota hit the back of the Ford, causing the Ford to veer off the highway and hit the guardrail, said police.
The Toyota became disabled on the highway, where it was then hit in the rear by the Honda, said police.
The driver and passenger of the Toyota had serious injuries and were taken to an area hospital.
The driver and passenger of the Honda sustained moderate injuries. No other injuries were reported.
