FLEMINGTON, NJ — Flemington Borough is advising residents, businesses, and visitors to plan for significant road closures on Sunday, June 14, as the borough hosts the Hunterdon County 250th Celebration Parade.
The parade steps off at 2 p.m. on Main Street, with road closures in effect from approximately noon to 6 p.m. Initial closures on East Main Street, Broad Street, Pennsylvania Avenue, and North Main Street begin at noon, with the full parade route and entire length of Main Street closed by 1 p.m.
The parade route closures include Church Street from Route 31 to Main Street, Main Street from Church Street to the Monument, North Main Street from the Monument to Hopewell Avenue, and East Main Street from the Monument to New Jersey Avenue.
Residents or businesses with access concerns are asked to contact the Flemington Police Department before parade day at 908-782-3434. The public is encouraged to plan alternate travel routes and allow extra time in the area.
