Women’s Comedy Open Mic Coming To Flemington DIY

FLEMINGTON, NJ — Women who have wanted to try stand-up comedy can take the microphone at an open mic in Flemington.

Flemington DIY will hold its Women's Comedy Open Mic from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 13, at 26 Stangl Road.

The program is presented as a "safe space to share laughs," where women can test jokes and try again if a routine does not go as planned. Performers do not need to worry if every joke lands; the goal is to provide an opportunity to give comedy a try.

Flemington DIY says its events are open to all ages. The organization also says no one will be turned away because they cannot pay.
