FLEMINGTON, NJ — Flemington is asking residents to donate Halloween candy to help neighbors who live in busy trick-or-treating areas.
The borough is accepting unopened, individually wrapped candy through Monday, Oct. 26, according to its Candy Assistance Program announcement.
Donations can be dropped off at Flemington Borough Hall Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or at the Flemington Police Department after hours and on weekends.
The candy will be distributed to participating borough residents, with pickup details expected to be announced in mid-October.
The program is supported by the Flemington Borough Clerk, Office of Emergency Management and CERT Team.
