FLEMINGTON, NJ — A free breast cancer awareness event featuring art, music and wellness activities is coming to Flemington this weekend.
Mia Art on Mine and Moss & Medium are hosting Phoenix Rising on Sunday, Oct. 18, from 3 to 8 p.m. at 30 Mine Street.
The event will feature local artists, wellness practitioners, live music, demonstrations, group activities and handmade items for sale. Each live demonstration lasts up to an hour.
All ages are welcome, and guests can bring their own food and nonalcoholic beverages.
"Come celebrate survival, not only in the face of illness, but from the traumas and hardships those fighting the battle encounter," according to the event announcement.
Vendors and music will wrap up at 8 p.m., but visitors can gather around the fire pits until 10 p.m.
