2nd Annual Comedy Night - Benefit for Dogs and Cats
On Thursday, October 16, Bergen County Protect & Rescue Foundation will host its second annual Comedy Night fundraiser.
On Thursday, October 16, Bergen County Protect & Rescue Foundation will host its second annual Comedy Night fundraiser to benefit homeless dogs and cats. The exciting event will take place at the American Legion Hall, Post 116, located at 1165 River Road in Edgewater, NJ.
Comics slated to perform include Harris Bloom (CBS Early Show, Gotham Comedy Club, Stand Up New York), who is also founder of the charitable animal organization, Stewie to the Rescue. In addition, Tommy Gooch (Mohegan Sun, Borgata Hotel) and Chris Monty (Off-Broadway’s Sit Down, Shut Up & Eat and Mall Cop 2) will keep the audience in stitches.
DJ Lou will provide the music to keep the guests dancing in their seats. Outback Steakhouse’s Edgewater location will provide the delicious buffet dinner. The evening will also include a tricky tray, featuring a variety of prizes, including NY Jets and NY Giants souvenir items, American Repertory Ballet tickets, admission for two to Top of the Rock in New York City, and many other fantastic items.

Tickets for this spectacular event are $45.00 per person. Ticket prices include admission, buffet dinner, beverages, dessert, coffee, and the all entertainment. Reserved seating is recommended, as seating is limited. Tickets will be available at the door for $50.00 per person. Doors open at 6:30pm, with dinner at 7:00pm. The event ends at 11:30pm.
All funds raised at this event will benefit Bergen County Protect & Rescue Foundation.

Bergen County Protect & Rescue Foundation, located at 302 2nd Street in Cliffside Park, is an all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill animal rescue shelter, whose mission is to “protect & rescue” as many lost, stray and unwanted domestic animals as possible. With the professional use of humane traps and well-planned techniques, BCP&R is also able to capture and relocate wildlife to safer locations. BCP&R also seeks medical assistance and rehabilitation for any animals that are injured.
