A Walk In The Woods : Flat Rock Brook

During

the month of November, the Fort Lee Library will be bringing nature inside by

displaying: “A Walk in the

Woods” in The Gallery and all around the Library. The photographic exhibit will

highlight the natural elements of Flat

Rock Brook’s
diverse habitats. The exhibit showcases the experience

of hiking in the forest, by the brook, and on trails at the Nature Center in

Englewood.  The timing coincides with the Nature Association’s 40th

anniversary during which celebrations will take place throughout the year, and

to reintroduce Flat Rock Brook to the community as a major renovation of the

center has recently been completed.  The photography is the work of

prominent area photographer Realf

Schermer
and presents Flat Rock

Brook
during the four seasons of the year.  Funding has been made

possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts through grant

funds administered by the Bergen County Department of Parks, Division of

Cultural and Historic Affairs.

Wednesday, November

13 @ 7:30pm :

Realf Schermer (Photographer), Jill Bennetta (Flat Rock Brook)…..and an American Kestrel will present a special program about the exhibit.  Take an “armchair journey” to Flat Rock Brook while learning about landscape photography and

birds of prey.
