FORT LEE, NJ — Fort Lee is planning its first World Cup watch party on Friday at the Jack Alter Community Center for a viewing of the USA-Australia match.
The watch party will begin at 3 p.m. on the lawn at the Jack Alter Community Center, where the game will be shown on a big screen.
Additional watch party dates are scheduled for June 24, June 28, July 15 and July 19.
“Be part of the excitement as the world comes together for the biggest sporting event on the planet—hosted right here in North America!, the borough wrote in an Instagram post.
Attendees can expect barbecue and ice cream and brand new Fort Lee swag — soccer scarves and Fort Lee soccer balls.
