• 68th National Chian Convention – Fort Lee, NJ – October 9 – 11, 2026 (hellenicnews.com) — A major Greek-American convention is coming to the Doubletree Hilton in Fort Lee from October 9–11, bringing banquets, entertainment, and community events to town. Attendees will honor prominent New Jersey Chians and support a large wildfire relief initiative for volunteer firefighters on the island of Chios, capped by services in Fairview and a trip to Liberty State Park.

(Oct. 1-3) (newsbreak.com) — A standout performance by Fort Lee senior running back Christian Senatore has earned him a spot among 12 nominees for New Jersey High School Football Player of the Week, after rushing for 253 yards and four touchdowns in Fort Lee's 28-21 win over Pascack Hills. Local fans can support their community by voting online through October 11, with the winner announced next week.
