Community Corner

Brunch with the Mayor

“Church and state should be separate,” and yet religious

organizations and local governments both have a stake in the welfare of their

communities.  Come to brunch with Mayor

Mark Sokolich, Mayor of Fort Lee, on Sunday, December 8 at 11am at the Church

of the Good Shepherd to talk about how the town and congregations can work with

each other for the well-being of all.

The Mayor’s Office is providing bagels, Good Shepherd is providing other

goodies—people of all faiths and none are welcome to eat and share ideas.  For more information, contact The Church of

the Good Shepherd, 1576 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ  07024 201-461-7260, churchofthegs@verizon.net,

goodshepherdfortlee.org.
