Alexander Vengerov
(saxophone) "Not
only Jazz"
Mr.
Vengerov studied both clarinet and saxophone at the world renowned St.
Petersburg State Conservatory while simultaneously working at the highly
acclaimed Mariinsky Orchestra. Once offered a position in the “President’s Own
Military Band”, Mr. Vengerov continues his passion for music by teaching the
clarinet and saxophone. The program will include: Benny Goodman,
Antonin Dvorak, Sidney
Bechet, Irving Berlin, Joseph Kosma, and Tomaso Albinoni.
