Music & Movies Under the Stars will happen every Saturday night through Labor Day weekend. Music is from 7:00pm-8:30pm and the movies start at sunset. Bring a blanket or lawn chair as seating is limited. The event will be held indoors if it rains.
Tonight's program features the Jumpers Orchestra and the 1949 WWII classic, Sands of Iwo Jima. Before the film, there will be a special presentation by the niece of Marine Sgt. John Basilone, who will talk about her uncle's heroism. Sgt. Basilone, a New Jersey native who was killed in action at Iwo Jima, was awarded the Medal of Honor and inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame.
