Rotary of The Palisades hosts talk on Medicare Fraud

The speaker, Tunde Akinrolobu, is an Outreach Specialist for the Senior Medicare Patrol of New Jersey. The SMP is a federally-funded program that educates Medicare and Medicaid neficiaries on medical fraud, waste and abuse. With Medicare and Medicaid losing billions of dollars due to fraud, waste and abuse each year, educating seniors on how to protect themselves against these types of activities is vital to preventing financial loss to the Medicare Trust Fund. Tunde Akinrolabe’s responsibilities include reaching out to seniors and speaking on this issue.

Come hear this informative talk and also learn about the local and international projects of the Rotary Club of the Palisades, including the Weekend Snack Pack Program, which benefits a number of students in the Leonia and Edgewater schools.

Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
