Trombonist Roger
Verdi has long believed the solo classical trombone is a voice worthy of a
wider audience. His first CD, Looking Ahead: Works for Trombone, released
in 2007, won critical acclaim and sold internationally. His second, Taking Steps, 2009 and Almost
Home, 2010, had similar success.
Roger, in collaboration with pianist Martha Locker will feature works by
Eric Ewazen, Alec Wilder, Benedetto Marcello and Charles Ives.
